About the Photograph

This image was captured during the "Great American Eclipse" on August 21st, 2017. My journey took me to Dixon Springs, Illinois, where I sat and watched the spectacle unfold from a corn field. The moment totality set in was incredible; I will never forget it.  I hope to relive the experience this April 8th during the next eclipse that passes over Maine.
